07:11.17p3limElmoe: that's our conclusion, yes, they basically changed from displaying vehicles in raids to the actual units instead
07:11.37p3limstill can't target the units by clicking them though, so mouseover macros is still needed

08:13.22p3limmalygos
08:13.34p3limulduar
08:15.12Elmoehmm yeah I guess do malygos and make sure it displays the player and not the vehicle
08:18.02Elmoep3lim: apparently this was found in PTR testing now I see a few threads on the official forums, I just really haven't been paying much attention

09:17.03Elmoep3lim: ok looks fine except it still targets the vehicle like you said

17:57.15TheDanWp3lim: good question, not sure, i'll ask the engineer that checked it in
18:01.49ElmoeTheDanW: thanks!
18:02.40ElmoeTheDanW: I put a workaround in VuhDo basically equivalent to what your engineer did but this is like the inverse of what is needed for the vehicles in Ulduar for example

18:19.32TheDanWlooks like it wasn't intentional, he's making some tweaks, thanks for pointing it out
18:29.55ElmoeTheDanW: what is the expected way we handle the situation though? I mean I can just have branching logic based on the location of the player but that is a pretty ugly workaround
18:30.04TheDanWChipzz: we applied your patch with some tweaks, some of the changes actually changed layout
18:31.54ElmoeTheDanW: also just saw your link to VWS, very cool!

18:47.11TheDanWElmoe: i wasn't that close to this change, my understanding is that UnitHasVehicleUI returns true when it's a full vehicle replace (action bars change and all that), however some crazy mechanics place you into a vehicle temporarily (like a boss grabbing you) and UnitTargetsVehicleInRaidUI should return false, it should still target the player, not the vehicle
18:48.48ElmoeI see so in the case of Antoran High Command UnitTargetsVehicleInRaidUI would return false, in the case of Ulduar it would return true?
18:51.40ElmoeTheDanW: does this mean we should expect the unithasvehicleui macro modifier to return false for the Antoran High Command use case as well?
18:55.08TheDanWi believe so for the first question, i don't think macros have a conditional equivalent to UnitHasVehiclePlayerFrameUI atm

21:14.21TheDanWChipzz: yeah, it'll be in a 7.3.5 build at some point
21:15.16ChipzzTheDanW: cool, I hope there weren't too much issues with it
21:16.21Chipzzalthough I suspect the issues that did pop up were due to the original xml being broken in the first place
