09:01.17hsychlaHi. Not sure if this is the right place... I have a yubikey with my gpg key on it. I also configured that yubikey for windows login. After boot I can log into Windows with by inserting the yubikey no problem. But as soon as I start Kleopatra, I can no longer unlock my pc with the yubikey. Is this a known problem with maybe a ticket somewhere that I
09:01.18hsychlacan follow/add to? If not, who would I talk to?
09:02.05goodgerhsychla: this might well be the right place... one moment
09:02.35goodgerwhen you say starting kleopatra, you mean launching kleopatra on the windows installation you previously unlocked with the yubikey?
09:02.48hsychlayes, exactly
09:03.37goodgerand you then lock the session, and try to unlock it, and it doesn't work – any particular error from winlogon there?
09:03.50goodgerdoes it start working again for the same session if you close kleopatra?
09:04.21hsychlayes. an no. no error. it just sits at the login screen doing nothing. I can still enter the password to login but not plug the yubikey
09:04.53*** join/#kde fatalerrors (~fatalerro@91.224.149.180)
09:05.19hsychlaor even... when kleopatra is not running, pressing enter is enough if the key is still plugged. that's also not working
09:07.00goodgerthat is, if you leave the device physically attached, quit kleopatra, lock the session, press return on winlogon – any joy?
09:07.28goodgerif not, does it work if you detach and reattach the device with kleopatra not running?
09:08.14*** join/#kde mnabid (uid448607@gateway/web/irccloud.com/x-kpsgoxgealmxsjnb)
09:08.21hsychlasec, I'll test
09:12.49hsychlayes. After stopping kleopatra and locking I can unlock by un/pluggin the key. After that pressing enter is enough again if still plugged
09:13.40goodgerOK, so, to be clear, starting kleopatra stops the key from working, even if kleopatra is quit, until it's detached and reattached
09:14.06goodgerwhat happens if you log in, start kleopatra, attach the key, then try locking/unlocking your session?

09:40.32goodgerhsychla: I'm afraid I can't really help further, mostly because I'm unfamiliar with it but also because it's off-topic here, but it appears that GPG (for which, as you probably know, Kleopatra is a GUI) is locking your yubikey's CCID interface and preventing Windows from using that interface – so if you can persuade either Windows or GPG (ideally GPG) to use another interface, possibly achievable by enabling OpenPGP support on the yubikey, then it

11:01.32Taggnostr2the issue seems related to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1792681
11:04.00tracer69-MTaggnostr2: sorry dont get the question
11:05.11Taggnostr2tracer69-M, on konsole, each individual tab used to have its own icon on the tab bar, that changed depending on the context (e.g. while monitor for silence/activity, or when a bell happened), but now those icons are gone
11:05.32tracer69-Mah ok
11:05.41tracer69-MTaggnostr2: try rebooting
11:06.06Taggnostr2so even if I enable e.g. "monitor for silence" and I have a few tabs opened, I get a generic notification about a tab being gone silent, but no indication on which tab it is

11:06.42Taggnostr2tracer69-M, do you think that will help?  I already rebooted a couple of times while doing other unrelated updates, but the icons are not there

16:01.19hebnemHello.  I'm trying to get CDDB info on CDs through K3B - I'm guessing it's broken because freedb was taken down in March?  It lists Musicbrainz as an alternative, but I'm not sure how to get that working.  Thanks in advance.

16:30.01pedahzurI recently upgraded to Kubuntu 20.04, and with it Plasma 5.18.5, Frameworks 5.68. It seems kwin_x11 is constantly using 10% CPU (on an Intel i7). When I go an empty desktop, it drops to near zero. Is that normal? That seems high for a mostly idle desktop. Is there a task-manager-like way to bring up a list of windows and show what is causing the rendering load?
