01:57.34tweakismI'm using kmail2.  I'm using IMAP accounts in disconnected mode.  It's started to hang (for 30sec-1min) on clicking on folders, checking mail, etc.  I want to do the index rebuild suggested at http://userbase.kde.org/KMail/FAQs_Hints_and_Tips#Troubleshooting , but those instructions seem out-of-date.

02:38.28edt_teakism kmail2 is generally a pita.  I am ___really___ hoping its been improved in 4.8.  I use maildirs here.  It sort of works for small ones (less than 30000 messages) but often has duplicate message problems.  I am not very happen with kmail2 - it still needs lots of love.
02:39.04tweakismedt_: I had issues w/ it on Fedora 14, but the version in Fedora 16 seems to be significantly less buggy.
02:39.26tweakismI don't know how many of the issues were in upstream vs. how many were in Fedora's packaging.
02:39.53edt_I'm on arch with 4.7.4 and its still quite buggy
02:40.35edt_I've been told that 4.8 should be better - there was a bug fix push but most of the fixes are in the 4.8 tree...

23:32.00tweakismno help there, though.
