00:28.11whiplashHi, can someone tell me why whhen I use a remote desktop connection to my server, it freezes the server up?  Is there a better "remote" program to use than what's built into kde?
00:29.12Blissexwhiplash: that really should not happen, and perhaps it is because it is trying to do reverse lookups in the DNS.
00:29.47whiplashhmm, any idea how I can fix that?  It's really annoying because I have to keep restarting my server when it freezes
00:32.59Blissexwell it depends if it is really just hanging trying to lookup things it eventually timeouts, if there is an actual bug then it;s ahrd to avoid.
00:33.09Blissexin any case KDE uses the same protocol as VNC.
00:33.33whiplashso maybe use VNC server program itself, instead of the rdp?
