03:39.41WisTilt2stinebd: do you have caps and fn leds on your raph, if so, do they currently work?
03:40.06stinebdWisTilt2: they work as simple toggles (not reflecting the actual state of input in the software)
03:40.48stinebdfor caps, that generally reflects reality, but fn doesn't
03:41.22WisTilt2so if you hit caps button does it come on? i see code in kernel for raph but doesnt look right.
03:42.08stinebdi don't remember if caps does... fn does for sure though
03:42.12WisTilt2maybe it is, seems to be reversed from what rhod uses
03:42.55stickman89hey WisTilt2 & stinebd :)
03:43.04WisTilt2ok thanks. im adding those leds for rhod, however current code uses microp-ksc, rhod needs this to be in microp-klt:(
03:43.16WisTilt2hi stickman89
03:43.31stinebdstickman89: hi
03:44.05WisTilt2stickman89 any juicy ril logs since last night?
03:45.48stickman89nope not what were after any :9
03:45.48stickman89:(
03:47.10stickman89last time I booted android I got an instant lockup, then I removed battery and reseated it, powered back on and strangely was getting a bootloop on splash screen.
03:48.20WisTilt2probably trashed something in data.img file.  delete it and let it make another, of course you'll loose all your settings and apps doing that.
03:50.16stickman89guys is it alright i link you a couple screenshots of what I'm doing in a mo? Just want your opinion :)
03:50.58WisTilt2stinebd: btw, we're pretty much 100% that the system server problem is related to ril during acquiring either the carrier or possibly data.  even without a sim card installed that code makes an attempt to register on the network and causes an endless loop.
03:52.04WisTilt2stickman89: fire away, im just working on making caps/fn leds implemented on rhod.
03:52.12stinebdWisTilt2: nice
03:54.02WisTilt2stinebd: now that we have the source im having our radio programmer look it over.  just cant put him on it too much right now until we get our device done before our certification deadline.
04:00.33stickman89It's a launcher I've been decompiling and I've also touched up the FRX04 framework about using MIUI's resources...
04:01.08stickman89here's the link: http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/3743/cap201101260351.jpg
04:01.25stickman89abit not about lol
04:02.28stickman89obviously us being ARM6 and unable to port MIUI I got a bit annoyed so just began doing this instead :)
04:39.07WisTilt2stickman89: didnt see you already posted the link.  nice looking screen.

05:20.36WisTilt2hey arrrghhh.  logs are good:)  im about to finish up getting the caps/fn leds enabled then i'll be with you.
05:20.48arrrghhhOoOo
05:20.54arrrghhhtake your time, that would be schweet indeed!
05:21.27WisTilt2that was something i wanted to finish when i finished the kbd backlight but forgot about it so doing it now.
05:21.34arrrghhhha
05:21.37arrrghhhno worries dude.
05:21.42arrrghhhi'm just pruning my logs.
05:21.48WisTilt2also fixed that repeating key people have been talking about i guess
05:22.01arrrghhhreally?
05:22.08arrrghhhwhat was the problem?
05:23.11WisTilt2yeah saw a couple people mention it awhile back and it was caused when the kbd backlight was enabled, scancode buffer wasn't being emptied since i forgot to add machine type rhod to that routine.
05:23.27arrrghhhoic
05:23.42arrrghhhwell that's good, i just kept blaming it on the system_server issue lol
05:24.13WisTilt2give me a few to finish this then ill put it up for you to try.

07:42.13XirXesWistilt2: tested out the new kernel. both caps and alt lights work on the 210. but they're backwards. the caps light is activated by alt and such. also they dont reflect a lock state. eg when you double press alt to lock it, it will still shut off after another key press.
07:44.31XirXesif your interested in seeing how an android device handles those lights normally the htc expresso has em.

19:29.12Alex[sp3dev]one reason to have it per-board. memory fixup depends on pmem layout. and having some code in both board and pmem.c is bad cause you need to keep track of both files
19:30.43Alex[sp3dev]now the main cause of confusion for me is microp. for example, keypad. what would be a cleaner way to implement it? per-board callback to which we pass pointers to microp read function? or just per-board scancode => input code mapping?

19:53.56XirXesbasically they work backwards on mine. tho they do work which is what he was testing.
19:54.03arrrghhhXirXes, sorry... can't seem to get this interface metric value to work correctly
19:54.07arrrghhhyea, i read it.
19:54.13XirXesits cool
19:54.17arrrghhhah seems to be workin now tho :D
19:54.25arrrghhhyea i updated the thread, several times :P
19:54.29XirXesfor now...
19:55.02XirXesill have to go read it

20:17.54arrrghhhhad to manually set a metric on the interface, and the gateway... interesting.

20:23.56[acl]bzo: emwe is cooking up the patch for .35. So in a bout a day you will see some stuff
20:24.11bzogreat
20:24.30bzoso we're going with the combined pmem then?
20:24.43Alex[sp3dev]you are, me not
20:25.15bzofwiw, seems more sensible to me to have separate pmem
20:25.56bzoAlex, you see that jb got a different camera lib working?
20:26.05bzowonder if it has support for your sensor

20:26.24[acl]bzo: well for now just to get somethings to boot we will just commit as is with the same old pmem. Then we will have to really get into it and hopefully alex and phh can come to an agreement
20:26.28[acl]i rather stay out of it :-p
20:26.35[acl]so does emwe :-p

20:26.37Alex[sp3dev]bzo: yeah, saw that. of course it does not have support. and actually i don't care for userspace, i can fake it to believe i have mt9t013. kernel driver is what matters
20:27.27bzoAlex it is unfortunate though that the new lib requires binary patching to work though

20:37.09[acl]Alex[sp3dev]: you prob know JBs clocks better than me. Have you thought about the structure he has ? or would you recommend rewriting ours ?
20:39.15Alex[sp3dev][acl]: i would recommend adding grp/mdp/vfe clock multiplexing from his branch. also, we could rip off clock calculation from qualcomm code for newer msm. or we *could* use jbruneaux's ones. but unfortunately you'd have to make md/ns table for every pll out there (msm gsm, cdma, newer qsd..)
20:40.48[acl]grp/mdp/vfe poop seems easy enough to move. guess we could start there
20:41.16Alex[sp3dev]dude.. i'm about to send my report in 20 minutes and i'm not even half through it. can't code right now
20:43.28[acl]Alex[sp3dev]: yeah concentrate on your work.. dont code.. us code monkeys can handle that..
