15:03.47cazhI seem to have some trouble getting the gps to work. Isn't it suposed to work?
15:04.08phhit does work
15:05.07cazhWell I've tried this app called GPSTest i think, and after turning on the gps it does nothing for 30 seconds nothing strange in that. But then it just reboots without warning. Any idea why?
15:05.40phhnot at all

15:07.23phhyou seem to have a weird definition of "it does nothing" then.
15:08.01cazhSorry, I forgot, just remebered not getting any sattelits :)
15:08.22phhanything else you forgot ... ?
15:08.36cazhDon't think so.
15:08.44phhlast rootfs ?
15:09.00cazhI'm using balsat's lastest
15:09.12phhI don't support them.
15:09.19phhI'm still not totally sure of what he does with them
15:09.38phhI don't even know which versions he uses

15:11.34phhlatest "news" entry is from the 19th may ...
15:12.00phhthere have been big changes to gps since that
15:12.30phhcazh: android doesn't run on the sdcard itself.
15:12.35cazhOkay, any idea why his build run so much faster? Just the ext2 stuff?
15:12.57phhthat's what he claims
15:13.02phhbut ext2 was slower for me than sqsh
15:13.14cazhext2 is faster for me then sqsh :S
15:14.07cazhI've tried the lastest builds with lastest zimage rootfs and so from xdandroid.com and it just hangs a lot for me
15:15.44cazhI'm wondering if i'm doing something wrong when running sqsh
15:17.06phhwe need someone courageous enough to test logfs.
15:17.22cazhlogfs?
15:18.27phha flash specilized FS that doesn't require lowlevel access
15:18.39cazhFor the nand?
15:20.33cazhI've got a extra diam100... So i'm not afraid to brick my device, if you need a tester?
15:21.17cazhThe screen is broken but I can just move the screen
15:21.20phhno, for the mmc.
15:21.32phhthere is no problem with the nand
15:21.37phhbut that we need wimo to boot
15:22.34cazhWhat need to be done? :)

18:46.15NeoMatrixJRDoes anyone know if there's a way to get the telnet service to listen on all interfaces? or set up an ssh server?  as-is telnet is only listening on the USB interface which I have too much trouble with.
18:47.13makkonenyeah, you can just edit out the bit of the telnetd line in /init that restricts it to the usb ip address.
18:47.42makkonenor do it right and get dropbear up and running: http://www.cri.ch/sven/doku.php/blog/running-dropbear-on-android
18:48.32makkonenif you've got a /data/dropbear directory correctly setup, it'll autostart on boot, and be accessible on all interfaces.
18:49.00makkonen(there's a bit in the init script for it)
18:50.59makkonen(and the binaries are already included in the rootfs)
18:51.22makkonen(i.e. all you need to do is set up your keypair and get the permissions dialed in)
