00:05.55Sundialshould android on htc devices questions be asked here? if so, is there any reason as to why I cant make/receive phone calls? I tried newest and old system.img as per xda threads advice, and it didnt work
00:06.17Sundialis there any operator specific settings I am missing or its just not working quite right yet?
00:06.53Sundialusing htc kaiser
00:27.25AstainHellbringtry a different rom on your phone
00:28.35boli^_is there any reason why something akin to 'ndiswrapper' couldn't be used to control the wifi on winmo phones for which there is no native wlan driver?
00:29.54boli^_perhaps the same wrapper could be used to initialise all the hardware into a 'known' state, potentially eliminating the 'try a different rom' guff
00:30.43boli^_i'm sure it wouldnt be ideal, but it would allow new hardware to potentially be supported more quickly?
00:52.54tmztboli^_: we have a driver though, thanks to google/android
00:53.04tmztit just needs adapted to work with sdio on the other devices
00:56.34boli^_i was unaware
00:56.38boli^_excuse my ignorance
01:00.23tmztSundial: you need to ask a specific question and someone will try to answer it, but we can't answer questions about "newer" or "older" system.img
01:01.20AstainHellbringtmzt sup?
01:08.13tmzthey
01:21.56AstainHellbringho
01:25.16Sundialtmzt: sorry, by newest I meant system.img included in 27-04 package, that dzo posted at xda. There was a post explaining that not being able to make/receive phone calls might be related to newer system.img, and that somebody had tried one from 22-03 and it worked. Turns out that for me that didnt work either.

01:46.43Sundialhmm yes, they were in the vogue folder at cs-alb-pc3.massey.ac.nz
01:47.17tmztthis is isn't easy to debug, you need to ssh and use logcat and logcat -b radio I think

20:30.23dcordeskiozen, we should found the htc-linux RC club together with BabelO
20:30.49kiozendcordes: lol, yes :)
20:31.37cr2dcordes: a htc-linux phone on RC is fun
20:31.46kiozencr2: don't know, and imho doesn't matter because of nyquist theorem
20:32.09kiozendcordes: dubwise works the htc phones
20:33.12kiozenhttp://mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/DUBwise
20:33.14dcordescr2, yea one could use a raphael as downlink for telemtry and uplink for commands
20:33.22cr2kiozen: i'll eventually patch the georeferencer to be more user-friendly :)
20:33.41kiozencr2: ok, send a patch :)
20:33.48cr2dcordes: lol. raph is certainly and overkill
20:33.51cr2kiozen: ok.
20:34.12kiozencr2: svn diff > patch.txt
20:35.08kiozengosh the mk looks lousy on the pic
20:35.35dcordeskiozen, that seems useful for debugging purpose
20:36.01kiozencontrol debuging and stuff
20:37.05dcordesa strong serial modem would be nicer though so you can debug from high distance
20:37.59dcordesdoes the program use bluetooth serial connection?
20:38.50cr2kiozen: i'd like to do the CRS per GCP, the lat or lon only for a GCP, and to draw a line and say 'this line is 48°N'. for the last one i need your support :)
20:39.13cr2in the gui path.
20:40.27kiozendcordes: btw that is the baby http://www.qlandkarte.org/kif_3665.jpg

20:41.08dcordesnice props. do you use 35MHz radio?
20:41.33kiozendcordes: currently in-flight debugging is done via bt
20:41.39kiozenyes 35Mhz
20:44.11dcordeskiozen, what battery do you use and how long can you fly with it?

20:56.05cr28bit, ok.
20:56.15kiozenno :( I have the 1.3 with the old gyros and many problems with temp drift
20:59.43kiozenthe mk flies perfect at sun down, but with sun it gets a pita
21:00.02kiozenthe problem bits just a few fc 1.3
21:01.54dcordescan't you upgrade the gyros? what about warranty?
21:03.35kiozenyou can upgrade but you have to change cirquitry. well it's not a real waranty case. they work but at the outer limit of the range. but the developers try to compensate the problen by sw
