00:07.44Brigo!firmware
00:07.44dpkgFirmware is software to operate electronic devices, usually contained in EPROM or flash memory.  Some Linux kernel drivers require firmware to be provided from userspace, notably for <WiFi> devices.  Most firmware files are not part of a Debian release as they do not conform to the <DFSG>; some are available via <contrib> and <non-free> packages, ask me about <search>.  See also <installer firmware>.  http://wiki.debian.org/Firmware
00:07.49thewanderer1how do I tell systemd that it's mandatory to start nfs-common *before* trying to mount an NFS share? right now, my .mount unit is failing with an "incorrect mount option was specified", which is because rpc.gssd was not yet running.

00:09.14thewanderer1Brigo, ok, how do I do that?
00:09.27teraflopspatachu: i have none since jessie is comming
00:10.05patachusince every new version comes with even more bugs you guys are trying to fix. i came from "just no wireless lan" to "X server fucked, nvidia drivers not upgraded and new kernel don't support any of my mouses"
00:10.47Brigoadding a line like after=nfs-common.service or so, see the man pages.
00:10.48Brigoteraflops, you have no reason since jessie is comming?
00:10.49patachuseriously, i wouldn't be you here who are kind of, the helpdesk.
00:11.13thewanderer1Brigo, but I don't think I can modify a unit file that's generated automatically at every boot
00:11.38thewanderer1and, if I understood the docs correctly, mount units are re-generated from /etc/fstab
00:11.39patachugood luck ! going to do something else of my days and roll back to win2003server 64bit, at least it works.

If you run a graphical file manager as root and accidentally move /usr into another folder by drag and drop you're pretty fscked unless you immediately realize it and are able to revert it.
