09:49.38mnemocconra: this crowfunding is to get the cash to manufacture the 3rd batch of the same (+minor fixes in the PCB)

09:54.04mnemocof recieving the perk? sure. of receiving it in november? depends on indiegogo willingness to send a partial transfer earlier. of receiving it in december? depends on f* paupal. of receiving it before the end of january. absolutely
09:55.55mnemocthe expected delivery was set assuming paypal as payment method. in which case the money is transfered immediately to tom, so he can use it to manufacture before the end of the campaign

10:20.41debianinyesterday i tested CB on a hdmi display and it works.
10:20.48debianinback home it doesnot.
10:21.08debianinso this confirm that the problem is in the driver that cant manage 1440x900
10:21.59mnemoctry setting your script.bin to force 720p
10:22.23mnemocyour dvi display can probably scale from there
10:23.01debianinhow to setting the script?
10:25.06mnemocbasically you "decompile" (in lack of a better term) it to fex using bin2fex from sunxi-tools, edit the .fex (.ini format) following the fex guide on the wiki and then compile it back to .bin using fex2bin
10:25.57debianinmmm semms not os complicate. tell me the link to follow and i will start.

15:38.55uNMdi want xfce
15:38.57uNMd:D
15:42.18relllamnemoc: surely it's possible, but shouldn't be a tutorial like a step-by-step howto than more like a "hint-list"?
15:42.18relllaok. the whole page should be shrinked/outsourced in 1) setting up a bootable sd-card, 2) setting up a cross-compile-environment, 3) build instructiond for xbmc. maybe i'll find some time to clear it up a little bit.
15:43.04mnemocrellla: problem is that every tutorial repeats the stuff once and again
15:43.57mnemochttp://linux-sunxi.org/Building_on_Ubuntu could be improved to include git stuff
15:44.00mnemocfor example
15:44.17mnemocif a different host distro, a different Building_on_Foo
15:45.22mnemocand the xmbc simply link it, with something like "you first need to get building essentials and git installed on your host, see this or that for details"
15:45.48mnemocbecause for everything they decide to build they'll need it anyway
15:45.56mnemocnot xbmc exclusively

19:40.06mnemocthere is nothing special on how the bsp builds it
19:56.07rmafaik without + means you are precisely at the version tag
19:56.21rmand with + is "this version and some commits after"
19:56.39rmfirst time I ever saw the + in my kernels is when I started building kernels from git
19:56.55rmno + when building from kernel source tarballs
20:04.48mnemocit just uses the head of sunxi-3.0, untouched
